Planner

Planner shows your work against time, so you can see how the hours and days fill up. Switch the view to match how far ahead you’re looking.

Open Planner, then pick the view that fits:

  • Day — one day on a clock-style dial, best for planning today.
  • Focus — an inbox of what needs attention beside a short, near-term schedule, for triage.
  • Month — a calendar overview, for the wider shape of what’s coming.

In Day view, tasks that don’t have a time yet wait in the Unscheduled panel, ready to be placed.

  1. Open the Unscheduled panel to see what still needs a time.
  2. Long press a task and drag it onto the dial.
  3. Drop it where it belongs, and the time is set.
  • Long press and drag to move a task to a new time.
  • Drag a task off the dial to send it back to Unscheduled.
  • Tap a time to create or open work for that slot.

Day view can also show Planned time against Actual time, so you can compare what you set out to do with how it really went.

  • Planner shows the same tasks as your Board and Lists; scheduling here updates them everywhere.
  • Filter a planner view by category when you want to focus on one area.
  • A date on its own puts a task on the Planner. Add a start time, and it lands on the day’s dial.
